Abstract

Objective: Non-pharmacological methods of pain relief, which are widely used in some societies today, are available, low-cost, low-complication, easy, and with acceptable efficacy methods, including acupressure, which is a branch of acupuncture. Aim of this study is to assess the affect of Acupressure on LI14 in childern undergoin painful Procedure and infant’s Apgar score

Material and methods: In this over view, the search process was to screen the relevant articles evaluating t The affect of Acupressure on LI14 on childern undergoing painful Procedure and c th application cupressure on LI14 in labor on infants Apgar score on the electronic databases of Scopus, EMBASE, Cochrane, Web of Science and Medline with no language or time restrictions (until March 10, 2020).

RESULTS: Acupressure on LI14 is safe and effective method in improving pain in children undergoingThtonsillectomy,insertion of cannulaLeve,limmunizatio,n IV insertion in pediatrics with thalassemia . however, Acupressure on LI14 is changed Apgar scores at one and five minutes.

Conclusion: Acupressure on LI14 is safe and effective method in improving pain in children undergoing painful Procedure but on Apgar score
