Background: While there is a strong link between rumination and internalizing psychopathology over the lifespan, the development of rumination is not well understood. The aim of this study was asses the effectiveness of psychological well-being training on negative automatic thoughts and resilience of female adolescents with rumination in Tehran.
Materials and Methods: The statistical population of the present study includes all female adolescents with rumination in Tehran, District 6 in 2018-2019. The method of the present study was quasi-experimental pretest-posttest with a control group. The number of samples in the study was 30 adolescent girls with rumination who were selected through convenience sampling method by referring to counseling centers and psychological services in Tehran, region 6, and randomly assigned to experimental (n = 15) and control (n = 15) groups. The experimental group received psychological well-being interventions (Ten sessions) in one month and a one-hour training session per week, while the control group did not receive any interventions. Then, female adolescents with rumination in both groups underwent a post-test. The instruments used included the Negative Automatic Thoughts Questionnaire (ATQ-N) (Ingram et al. 1995), and the Resilience Questionnaire (Connor and Davidson, 2003). After collecting the questionnaires and extracting the raw data, the data obtained from this study were analyzed by SPSS software version 23 using descriptive statistics and analysis of covariance.
Results: The results of data analysis showed that in the experimental group of psychological well-being training 6.66 percentage was 14 years old and 15.55% were eighth grade in the experimental group of psychological well-being training. Moreover, psychological well-being training w .
